The first solo painting exhibition of painter Hacer Bolat’s works, “Window Opening to the World”, welcomes its visitors at TESK Art Gallery.
Art lovers show great interest in the exhibition, which includes approximately 40 works, in the Capital, which hosts valuable events during the culture and art season.
I WORK WITH NAIVE COLORS
Evaluating the exhibition to ankaranethaber.com reporter and stating that this is the first personal exhibition she has opened, Hacer Bolat said, “I have been participating in exhibitions and charity events since 2008. This is an exhibition where I thought mostly of a winter concept, but I also reflected all my styles. We can divide it into two series: ‘Winter’ and ‘Sympathetics’ series. There are examples of my abstract works, I have portrait examples. My painting style is naive. In portraits, landscapes, still lifes, I work with naive colors in my own way. Nearly 40 of my works are exhibited here. I am a graduate of Architectural Decorative Arts, I have always dealt with drawing. I have been painting since my childhood, but throughout my working life I have always painted alongside my profession. After retirement, I concentrated more on exhibitions. I work mainly in oil painting. I also have sculpture and ceramic works, but now I have turned to oil painting, I work entirely in oil painting.” she said.
