Skyline Sun concert left its mark on the 28th Ankara Jazz Festival, organized by the Jazz Association with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.
On the ninth day of the festival, the event held in Last Penny Büklüm with the contributions of Goethe Institute witnessed intense participation.
Coming from different countries and meeting in Berlin; Skyline Sun, a band consisting of Australian Jarrah Dhyan (guitar), Peruvian Paul Hoyle Gutierrez (bass guitar), British Matt Shapiro (keyboards) and Canadian Dylan Greene (drums), attracts the attention of music lovers with its innovative approach to the nu-jazz genre.
Jazz lovers who witnessed the live performances of the songs from the band’s latest album Dichotomy on the festival stage experienced a magnificent musical feast of more than two hours.
Making a statement to ankaranethaber.com reporter after the concert, the band members stated that they came to Ankara from Berlin by plane the day before and that they attended the Jazz Workshop held at Ankara Music and Fine Arts University today. Team members said that the food and drinks were great and the festival had been great so far and took a photo with Özlem Oktar Varoğlu, the President of the Jazz Association and the curator of the festival.
