The 7th Annual TED Torch Bazaar, organized by the Turkish Education Association (TED) Social Services Committee, takes place at Divan Hotel Ankara with the theme “Shopping Turns into Goodness”.
TED Chairman Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu visited the event area and chatted with the participants. Pehlivanoğlu also visited the stands opened by the students and did New Year shopping.
The event, which was attended by those who wanted to choose beautiful new year gifts and contribute to the TED scholarship fund, will bring hope to more students with each participation.
Turkish Education Association, which supports the education of students who are successful but do not have sufficient financial means, has given non-refundable scholarships to approximately 50 thousand students since its establishment.
The event, which brings together designers and those who want to contribute to education, attracts great interest from the people of Ankara.
It is aimed to provide scholarships to approximately 100 students with the proceeds from the bazaar, which has reached thousands of people so far.
